DEPOSITS:
To reserve a spot on my calendar, 50% deposit is required. This is non-refundable *unless Lady Sugar Sparkles cancels due to illness. If you need to cancel more than two weeks in advance, I will work with you to apply your deposit to another order, provided I haven’t purchased special equipment or supplies for your order. Payment of deposits and order balances may be made via Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or cash. Please contact me via email if you need to use an alternate payment method.
If you are thinking about placing an order, have inquired about availability, and have not yet confirmed the date with me via message and deposit, that calendar spot is still available to any inquirer who confirms sooner.
ARTWORK AND COPYRIGHT:
Please understand that I cannot copy other artists' work. If you love another artist's work, please let me know what you love most about the work, and I will factor that into your custom designs.
For easily-recognized, beloved Disney movies and characters, for example, please allow me to create an "inspired" set that will not infringe upon copyright protections.
PICK-UP DETAILS:
I will usually send a studio photo of your cookies on the day of pickup, to ensure you are happy with your custom cookies, and share the excitement! If there is a balance on your order, you must pay for the order in full before I will release the order to you. There may or may not be cell service in the area, so please be sure you can complete payment prior to pick-up. I will not provide your order under any circumstances if not paid in full by the time of pick-up. A pick-up date and time will be agreed-upon mutually. If you are more than 30 minutes late for pick-up, your order will be placed outside, at the same address, in a designated weather-proof pick-up area (ONLY IF PAID IN FULL), and I will no longer be responsible for the order. If you are late, and your order is not paid in full, I may cancel your order. Many clients are coming from SLC airport, and I understand flights are not always predictable. If your flight is delayed and the original pick-up time will no longer work, I recommend paying your order balance right away, and sending me a quick text, so I can prepare to place your order in the client-accessible pick-up area.
ORDER CHANGE POLICY:
Booking your custom order includes our initial conversation, as I work to understand your theme. In most cases, I immediately begin sketching and designing your custom order, even creating custom cookie cutters to bring your custom cookies to life. For this reason, if you request to change your theme after booking with me, a design fee, billed by the hour, will be applicable. No order changes (quantity, price level) or design changes (changes in color scheme, wording, shape, theme, etc.) will be guaranteed within two weeks of your agreed-upon pick-up date. Slight changes in order quantity may be possible within two weeks of your event.
